I've been a fan of NF for the past two years, and he still never ceases to amaze me. He captures my full attention with every song he puts out.

Using his real name, Nathan Feuerstein, NF first debuted in 2010 with "Moments." Growing up, Eminem was Nathan's role model. Because of this, "Moments" seemed to echo Eminem's sound a bit, but, as he grew as an artist, Nathan created his own style and sound.

In 2014, Nathan signed to Capitol CMG and released his first album, NF, under his stage name. He went on to release a new album each year, his most recent album being Perception, which he released in October 2017.

Until recently, NF has not been a particularly well-known artist, but, thanks to the popularity of his song "Let You Down" from Perception, people are becoming more aware of NF's presence in the music industry.

NF's slogan has always been "Real Music," and he has definitely remained true to that. Not only does NF write all of his own lyrics, but he pours his heart into every song he writes. His lyrics are deep and meaningful, unlike most rappers in the industry.

Though he suffered from a really tough childhood, he manages to use his dark past to create something good. He also never hides his opinion, so fans should always expect honest and blunt lyrics from NF, no matter what the topic.

In addition to raw lyrics, NF has also had a bit of a running plot throughout a couple of his songs so far. In both "Mansion" and "Intro III," he personified the fear he has always carried inside of himself.

"Fear came to my house years ago; I let him in," NF says in "Mansion."

This song is one of my favorites by him because it is a true look into his mind; he lays his heart out bare for the world to see. In "Intro III," fans get to see this character of Fear even more as he dialogues with NF throughout the song. I'm interested to see if and how Fear shows up in NF's future songs.

Out of all four of his albums so far, there isn't a single song I haven't liked. Some of my personal favorites that I recommend to everyone are:

"Oh Lord"

"Let You Down"

"Mansion"

"Real"

"Wake Up"

"Therapy Session"
