The Rose is back with their 2nd mini album Dawn, released on October 5. The title track, "She's In The Rain," tells an emotional and powerful story that is sure to pull on listeners' heart strings.

In the first verse and chorus, the song is calm and peaceful with beautiful, melancholy vocals from Woosung and Dojoon. The verse shows the main character of the story dealing with sadness and loneliness. He calls out, but no one is listening. The rain symbolizes his loneliness.

The mood shifts after the chorus ends and becomes more powerful, creating a contrast between the first half and second half of the song. In the second verse, the main character describes hurt and emptiness he sees in the girl he loves. Like him, she is also "in the rain."

In the final chorus, the main character tells the girl that he will stay with her and that they will overcome their pain together, saying, "we're in the rain." It is no longer a burden they have to struggle with on their own because they are now together.

The MV is beautiful and fits perfectly with the song. It is powerful and passionate, allowing viewers to really see Woosung and Dojoon pouring their heart into their lyrics. Scenes switch between the band and a vivid storyline between the two characters.

**Update: Due to a problem with the original video, it was taken down from Youtube. The video above is the lyrics video for the song, a beautiful telling of the story through sand art.

Aside from the title track, the album features an instrumental of "She's In The Rain" and three other songs: "I Don't Know You," "Take Me Down," and "Insomnia."

"She's In The Rain' and "Take Me Down" are my two favorites on this album, which is, in my opinion, even more amazing than Void. I love both albums, but Dawn is, without a doubt, much more powerful, emotional, and beautiful. Not to mention, the band's talent is showcased much better on Dawn.

I think The Rose is moving in a very good direction, and they are improving rapidly. They are doing well at using their natural talents and continue to tell beautiful stories through their poetic lyrics.
